Four of us came here after our hike at the Manasquan Reservoir. Our family loves Vietnamese food, so in a toss-up between Mexican, Vietnamese or Italian, this place won hands down. We suddenly felt that we were in the mood for Pho.
We were greeted very warmly, and led to our table immediately. Their Menus are in large print and very colorful, with cute pictures in them.
For Appetizers, we ordered the Crispy Eggplant, the Chicken Satay, and of course, the Vegetable Pho in Chicken Broth. For the Main Course we got the Chicken with diced vegetables in spicy garlic- ginger curry sauce and the Shrimp Spring Rolls. Portions were adequate, and with the accompanying delicious Lychee Bubble Tea, we were really stuffed.
All the food was delicious with traces of lemongrass, honey and exotic Vietnamese spices. Service was quick, friendly, polite and welcoming—sometimes bordering on the hovering, but not enough that we felt uncomfortable. Now we are aware -- it is just their way.
We loved the place, and recommend that other diners give it a try. Wish there was something similar closer to our home.
