We stayed in the resort tower. Wonderful room and strip view. Love the amenities. Kid friendly. Maybe we'll take them next time! The hotel is huge! Right next to the Luxor. Lots of things to do here. You almost don't need to leave!

we booked 3 rooms to a family vacation.
arriving the hotel at late evening around 8pm and after waiting in line for check-in for more than 30 min we've been told that 1 of the rooms not ready!!!
when we booked more that 2 months ago, we asked for extra bed as one of the families have 3 kids, after verify again the request during check-in we're waiting more than 4 hours (till 1am) and still no bed, calling housekeeping is a waist of time as we try it 4 times, even reception couldn't help at night and i found myself sleeping on the floor and having the kids sleep in beds.
i won't recommend to stay there for families with kids and/or someone how doesn't like smoke smell, you can't hide the smell once in the casino area and dining area so you will need to walk out the hotel.
the hotel show "Tournament of Kings" provide a great experience for families and the kids, be ready to eat with your hands.

Room Tip: ask for a room facing New-York hotel, great view

We recently stayed overnight arriving early on a Tuesday morning. We were in California for a visit and our flight was real early Wednesday morning. We arrived the self checking kiosks were all down had to wait in line. We were supposed to be in the new updated tower. If that was the updated tower then I shutter to think what the “old” tower holds. We arrived to our room to find a hair ball in the drain of our sink. Other people’s belongings next to our couch. When packing up in the morning looking under the couch I located some lovely trash from the previous guest as well as a bathing suit that was left behind by the previous guest. Makes me shutter to think of what was and wasn’t cleaned. Yuck! On another note the casino is small the pools were closed except 1 because it was a weekday. So the one pool open was so over crowded it was awful. The arcade on the lower level was dirty and run by some rude managers. The machines were so full of dust when you dropped coins off the ledge of the one machine they got caught in the dirt and wouldn’t fall into the shoot causing missed tickets for multiple kids. Very very disappointed. Will not recommend or stay again.

Have stayed here many times. First time staying with kids. Worked out perfectly. They enjoyed themselves and plan to use this hotel again when we return. Good location, good places to eat and snack. Overall always a good stay.

The location is great. Rooms are clean and affordable. I enjoy the family atmosphere and the accessibility to the Luxor, Mandalay Bay and New York hotels/casinos and amenities. My son loves staying here and calls it his Castle. =)
