Booked and payed a £50 deposit in march for our one night stay in july for our wedding annIversary. Arrived at the agreed time of 2.30pm but no reply found the gardener he told us they were away. The gardener and his wife spent the next 1h 30min trying to get hold of the owners. After nearly two hours of sitting in a hot car we had to leave to go to a friends house 5 miles away to get changed as we had a meal booked at 5pm. At 4.40pm we receoved a phone call off the owner apologising that she forgot our booking! She said to my wife that she would refund the deposit on her return and make it right with us as it was our wedding anniversary and it had spoilt our plans. She asked what we were doing after our meal my wife said we would have to return home as they were away. Her reply to this was please dont do that i will get my daughter to let you in and get you some bread, eggs and juce for the morning. Her daughter met us just after 6pm she was lovely and had decorated the bed with pettals and chocolates and a bottle of prosecco We then had to leave again at 7pm as i had booked tickets for peter andre as a surprise. Finally arrived back at 11.25pm and got to open the gifts and cards from family. Had 2 slices of toast each and some juice in the morning had a nice phone call of the daughter asked if we could take the prosecco home as had to drive. After being home a week we had no response from the owner i phoned up to ask about the return of the deposit. She said im not refunding it as you stayed at the property i think the £35 discount off the full price prosecco, chocolates makes up for the inconvenience. I will refund £20 as you are not happy but you cant expect a free night as i have costs eg laundry the food and drink we had. I said i was not happy as she had gone back on what she said on the phone but just wanted to leave it as was upset at being let down again. I then received a email off the owner listing all her expenses and what was brought for us and stating she was wishing she had not have let us in. Wow what a insult if we had of gone home we would have got a refund and she would have got off scott free. At the end of the day they took my deposit and the booking then forgot us! Completely ruining our wedding anniversary and i dont expext to pay for the privaledge. IT WAS YOUR MISTAKE NOT OURS IT SHOULD BE AT YOUR EXPENCE NOT OURS!!

Just back from a weekend staying at Church Farm, on our visit to Norwich. The B&B is so peaceful with lovely views, set in the countryside yet so close to the town. The room was very comfortable with everything we could possibly need. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Michael and Felicity made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed here for one night whilst attending family funeral! The welcome we had was lovely - tea and delicious lemon drizzle cake! Lovely relaxing evening in a beautiful room with everything you could have wished for !! Breakfast was delicious and relaxing - lovely choice of menu! Would definitely recommend and would certainly visit again! Wished the weather had been warmer and we could have enjoyed the beautiful garden!
