The food here is really very nice - nicely presented and the staff and service are quick and attentive.

There is a lot to choose from on the menu, and a lot of the food is locally sourced and seems very fresh.

There is a farm shop where you can buy meat, cheese, fruit etc and also a shop to buy gifts and homely pieces.

Beckworths is lovely to come for a little shop in their farm shop, and for a bite to eat in their cafe but the wait to sit down - even during a weekday - is quite ridiculous. You are unable to book a table and so have to join the queue - which on this occasion ventured all the way into the shop.

It can often put people off knowing you have to queue to eat - perhaps some form of booking process would help.

Booked the half price ice skating. We all enjoyed it. We had one penguin for my youngest which was handy. Not too busy so plenty of room. Great that it is now under cover.

A very varied and interesting menu for coffee, lunch or afternoon tea.
Lovely atmosphere and willing and friendly staff.
Good garden centre. In the winter they have an ice rink with skating and curling sessions.

Very good produce in the food hall and most of it produced locally.

Rather disappointing afternoon tea experience. The little cakes and sweet treats surrounding the sandwiches were all red soft fruit based. The bread for the sandwiches, although with tasty fillings, was far too thick, more like doorsteps and covered in crisps and cress!! Why? This is the second visit for afternoon tea in the hope of improvement but with no changes to the selection at all.
