Honestly, we were a little surprised that this is rated as a 4 star hotel. The lobby was beautiful and welcoming. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly and efficient. Basically, all the things you’d expect from a 4 star.

However, the rooms felt more like a 2 1/2 - 3 star hotel. They were perfectly fine and the price was good, but they weren’t particularly special or modern.

Still, we’d absolutely stay here again and would definitely give this hotel a Power Trippers recommendation.

The room was small the beds where small to room felt just cramped and not a good experience I would say if you go here just stay there for 1 night the pool is also very dirty and breakfast is extremely expensive.

We chose this hotel as an inexpensive place to stay, as a resting place on our way to Branson, Missouri. We reserved a room, stating a capacity of 5 people (3 adults, 2 children). The room size was clean, but small as well as the size of the beds. Even though we reserved for 5 people, we only had enough towels for two people in which we needed to go to the front desk to retrieve more (always many people waiting in line to check into the hotel and no "side line" for existing guest needs). The hotel did not offer complimentary WiFi, which I thought was rare these days. Also, no complimentary breakfast of any kind, though they did have a menu for breakfast and dinner. This would have been nice, but the prices were extremely high and it was more economical to utilize Grub Hub to get food or do self-pick up. This location was adequate to meet our needs, though I don't believe I would choose to stay here again.

Check in was pleasant and super efficient. All the staff were very accommodating, helpful and friendly, without being cheesy. We stayed in a corner king bedded room, which is a little larger than a standard king room. Room was clean, renovated, bed very comfortable and we didn't have any issues. As titanium Marriott members, we received a premium wifi and a complimentary breakfast at their restaurant, which was delicious and interaction with the waitress was pleasant. Restaurant was also open for dinner, which was convenient. My husband and I shared a hummus platter and each of us had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Food was delicious, prices competitive and service good. On property hot tub was relaxing and enjoyable in the evening.

This Marriott has definitely been renovated and everything was up to standards. People have to understand that when it comes to older Marriott's building renovation, there are things that can not be changed, such as the size of the bathroom or the width of the door for example. Bed was definitely Marriott's bed and we got a great night sleep. Shower had a great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Everything was in perfect working order in our room and on property and had those special touches you got to experience from Marriott over the years. We enjoyed the indoor hot tub. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant inside the hotel and even though the menu is still limited, we enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. We were impressed by the customer service. Every employee we encountered at the front desk and throughout our stay was helpful, accommodating, professional, pleasant and would go extra mile without being intrusive and without losing high Marriott standards.
