We decided to redeem our earned free night and pay the extra $ to upgrade to what was listed as a two room suite with jetted bath tub. (our teen boys were with us and we wanted privacy after a long day of driving.) Imagine our disappointment when there was no room divider between rooms let alone a wall with a door. We found hair in the jacuzzi, there were red wine?? stains on the floor, the pull out sofa was badly stained, the room smelled like tobacco, the halls were musty, and the pool area was unkept. And, at breakfast instead of setting out hot food, they set out frozen sausage and cold biscuits in the tray. Attendant was late, so you had to warm yourself. The overall stay was extremely disappointing.

Excellent location and the staff is very helpful and friendly. some of the guests were not so nice, but that cannot have been helped. Good buffet especially for kids and clean rooms. My only negative is the towels are too small and not very absorbent.

Room Tip: ask for a room away from the elevator and stairwells

Helpful and friendly people were on the front desk; we had two spacious and clean rooms and there was a swimming pool and laundry for guests to use. The extra clean towels were much appreciated. There was a nice big desk in the room which I found helpful for checking my emails and doing some internet research.

We checked in this hotel in the evening. Not aware of our surroundings. We frequent La Quinta hotels because of their policy on dogs staying free. Seemed to be newly remodeled. The young man at the desk was very nice & helpful.
My husband went out to walk the dog & in close proximity of the hotel is some type of homeless community. There were tents & shopping carts, along with homeless people. This was right on the side of the hotel ... Looks to be an area that is not safe. They should make people aware of the area so you aren't walking right into it.

Room Tip: Be aware of your surroundings.

Booked a suite, which was allowed knowing we had pets but when we arrived were told we could not have the suite but had to get two rooms. At additional cost. Unmarked areas that we could not go with the dogs. Marked areas would have been nice. Really, if my dog could not have been in the far part of the lobby, neither should the man in just his underwear, but nothing was said to him. I also left an item in my room. When I called about it, I was told that it was not there. Amazing that a pair of expensive shoes disappeared. In the past we have always enjoyed la quinta, to the point that we don't even look anywhere else. But after this trip I don't plan to visit another.
