After reading all the reviews about Mary Maloney’s, my friend and I had to visit and see if the restaurant measured up to the hype. Once we found the entrance, we were immediately lead to our table in the Florida room. We had called that morning for reservations. We saw people dressed from capris to dressy wear. Not your shorts and flip flop restaurant. The server was professional and was able to describe the dishes on the menu to us. Don’t be scared off by the $38 priced dishes. There are plenty of other options. I had the shrimp and crab au gratin. Delicious! My friend had the fried shrimp. Huge butterfly shrimp that were lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. Homemade blue cheese dressing was to die for good! A must on your trip to Biloxi!

The atmosphere and food was great and of course service star 5

Recommendations include stuffed red snapper and home made Bloody Mary for lunch with run bread pudding for desert

A historic building you will enjoy

Entree salad side and desert average $18-$19

Try it and read the history of this fine restaurant and Bobby as he visits your table

Service was excellent. Food as always delicious. We come to Biloxi once a year and always try to make a visit to Mary Mahoneys. Their lunches offer bread, salad, entree and dessert for about half the cost of their dinners.

The food was great, but the history and the beauty of the building makes it a must see. The house has been there since the 1700's when the area was controlled by the French and remained in the same family until 1820. It experienced various uses over the years but the Mahoney family bought it in 1964 and it has remained a restaurant with the same family since then. There is a book giving the history of the home you can purchase, and many interesting facts are on the menu. Since it was a home there are many different rooms, all with their own charm. Some have the original brick exposed on the wall. If you have a taste for shrimp or crab, this is the place, they make it in many delicious ways. We had the best seafood gumbo of all the places we had tried it in the area. Come for the history, but enjoy the food!

The finest traditional decor and cuisine. l loved the special service and cuisine. There is a giant Oak Tree that surrounds this restaurant. The tree is thousands of years old. This place has been in movie scenes. They have Houdini artifacts that are appealing.
