I love this place eversince way back 2011. They did not have room service, tv and wifi then. But now, they even have massage services and I heard people just come in to eat.
I love the serenity and that fantastic view in the balcony. The rooms are still well maintained. The resort has this exclusivity feeling. It is pricey compared to other resorts in Santander, but it is worth the money. One of the best thing here is the infinity pool. The pool caretaker clearly loves his job! He vacuums the pool and scrubs the tiles in addition to the normal cleansing process every morning. And not only that, the pool is wonderfully heated. When you are in the Philippines, not all pools are heated, especially at condominiums in Cebu City. But this infinity pool is just warm and so instagramable! Food is great too. You get towels at the pool area. The ambience is great, not noisy, and I just love it. The peeple who worked there are very attentive, helpful and friendly.
The downside was not the resort staff's fault. There were guests that night, around 30 folks who were very loud and drunk. It was not the sort of thing you usually see there, I bet. We were about to have night swimming but we skipped that. The next morning, I sat on a triangular glass bit from a beer bottle that was broken the night before. I wished the admin would be informed of this so that this sort of thing won't drive away guests.
Wifi here does not work, at least that was very slow and totally useless.
Tips for commuters if you want to visit downtown. Just be wary of drivers who ask for too high price for tranporting you to and from Eden Resort. Always be clear of the price before hopping in. You can give 20 pesos per head.
All in all, I would go back to this place definitely.
