The title says it all- authentic, large portions, relatively fast service. The soup noodles were nicer than the dry ones, rice were good as well. Recommended!

This is the only restaurant we would eat in St. Albans. The food very consistently cooked, great flavour, fast service. Due to the business, you will not receive a smile from staff sometimes, which is normal from an Asian restaurant. A lot of staff do not have the proper hospitality training and not taught by the owner/manager- hence please do not count on the service/great hospitality.

Friends said this restaurant was good so decided to give it a try. It offers more varieties on food selection and the food is comparatively cheaper (many noodles are under $10) than many other Vietnamese restaurants. Surprisingly the spring rolls are made of rice paper instead of Chinese spring rolls paper, really authentic, though they need to improve their deep frying skills. They also offer Bun Bo Hue which is only available in certain authentic Vietnamese restaurants somewhere in Forest Lawn of Calgary. Service is so-so. We forgot to specify we wanted 3 spring rolls and by default they would give you large size (5 spring rolls), so watch out! My son ordered sliced rare beef and tripe and he was happy there were lots of tripe (compared with other Vietnamese restaurants) but complained the soup base was tasteless. I told him it's better to be too salty with too much MSG. Vermicelli was quite big with lots of meats. If you are around the area, it's not a bad idea to give this restaurant a try and see if you like it. Overall, it's a so-so restaurant.

No one smiles here but there are 2 dishes that are really good and worth the visit. Bun Bo Hue and Dry Stir Fry Hor Fun with Beef so far the best in St Albans. Just need to bear with the overworked and unfriendly staff. For the love of good food .....

Food is nice, however the service is really bad, we never get the welcoming smile from the owner (a lady who is always at the counter). She even never says "thank" when you pay the bill, so rude. Food is ok but my family rarely come here due to their service. Hope they will improve in some way.
