Small restaurant in town with population of 4. Good breakfast and lunch. Simple Sunday brunch with terrific Carmel rolls

Ok...I love this young family that took over this place and I hope it thrives for them! The food in the Cafe is always good, although it is probably a little more expensive than you'd think it would be. I'm sure that is because they need the summer business to stay above water in the middle of nowhere. When Emmaville gets busy your service may suffer. They have one cashier for fishing licenses, gas, store, bar, and maybe even the Cafe (not sure if I remember seeing another register for that). If it's the busy season, I'd plan on giving yourself a little extra time in case things are busy and you have to wait longer than you would at a more commercial stop in town. It's a great all-in-one stop with some amazing cinnamon rolls! If you want one, you should get there early...they go quick.

This is a really quaint place where everything is homemade! Can't go wrong with the cinnamon rolls, wild rice cranberry French toast or any of their pies! Great grocery attached with perfect items to take home! Love the family who owns the place!
