We were staying in Park Rapids and were out driving the country roads when we happened upon the Emmaville Cafe on County 4. Noticing that it was after 1:15, we knew they would soon be closing, so we hustled in. The menu had the normal mix of burgers and standard sandwiches as well as salads. The special of the day was a ham and cheese on a ciabatta roll with a cup of roasted red pepper tomato soup. Yum! Service was friendly. While we didn't feel rushed, we paid attention to the time. I'd stop back here again because the desserts - carrot cake, cherry pie, bread pudding looked pretty darn good.

This is a fun quirky stop. Food is your typical diner type meal. They did have a fancier omelette with spinach, tomatoes, bacon and feta.

My daughter had the cinnamon roll and it looked great.

Service was a little slow but I'll go back

Stopped for breakfast, everything was great. Nice staff, quick service. Hours are 7am to 2pm, wish they would be open in the evening.

Emmaville is right on the way to our cabin - the closest stop for us. We always eat breakfast here at least once a trip if not more, the homemade pies and rolls are SO YUMMY and the last time we were up north they had brisket on a Friday night that was delicious! Great place to stop for a quick bite, bait, or any last minute supplies that you have forgotten.
The new owners are very friendly and super nice! The area is very lucky to have them and Emmaville!
