This place is so great I hate to tell people. This is definitely a home town favorite. The food is ever changing no matter your taste and the service is incredible!

Well prepared food for reasonable price. Main dishes were tasty. Desserts (especially chocolate) are excellent.

We have come to the Hilltop for years. We love the prime rib, but have never had a bad meal and always had good service.
We only get up in this area for one week a year but we always get here for one of our evening meals.

Hubby & I went here for an early dinner on a Tuesday night. We were greeted by a super friendly sever. She immediately told us that there wasn't any crab dishes & they didn't have any soup. My husband ordered the Optimus Prime sandwich which is made from Prime Rib & shrimp. The server came back and told us the sandwich wasn't available. My husband was super disappointed. He then ordered the fried chicken. I had the walley fish dinner.

Our food was good. No complaints. The sangria we ordered came in a red wine glass & it was probably a 4 ounce pour. The wine was $7 a glass we were expecting a typical sangria with ice & fruit.

Service was friendly, but at the end of dinner was slow. We had finished eating our food had to wait 10 minutes, then we asked for check, another 10 minutes went by & we got our check.

We don't have anything bad to say about food or service, really, but because of all the missing menu items we couldn't rate higher than a three.

We enjoyed our salmon and walleye very much. Delicious! But they were out of the soup of the day even though we came right after they opened. They were also out of the wine we ordered. This attractive place filled up after we arrived and we heard other patrons that were told the salmon and other entrees were no longer available.
