Description: Chef/Owner Hector Ruiz welcomes you to Cafe Ena: A cozy intimate restaurant located in the tangletown neighborhood in south Minneapolis. Chef Ruiz pares his classic French technique and South American palate to present an exciting menu of Latin-Fusion cuisine. Begin your meal with a south american style ceviche, shrimp, fish, scallops and shrimp in a aji sauce. The many entrees include, scallops, halibut, pork tenderloin, Argentinean style steaks finished in a savory chimichurri. The wine list focuses on a wide range of varietals from Central and South America. Weekly Wine Flights are a great opportunity to sample the many styles offered on the list. If wine is not your thing, perhaps you would enjoy one of the many cervesas, always served in a frosty mug with a lime.

We at Café Ena before attending a Crosstown Band concert in Minneapolis. The ceviche was wonderful, and the entrée continued the meal with new healthy and enticing flavors. Great work! The concert was wonderful also!

The food is South American. Never have had a bad meal there. Service is OK. Wine list is fair. Noise level can be troublesome if ambient noise is a problem for you. But, the appetizers and the entrees are uniformly excellent.

Cafe Ena has become a regular on our date night locations. Great hospitable service and quality creative pan-Latin inspiration. The churns and stuffed poblano are a must!

Just had dinner with friends at Cafe ENA. Ordered three different dishes and all were excellent. Ate outside too which is a bit noisy on the busy street, but still very ice

Stopped in for afternoon appetizers and a glass of wine. Tried the Cameron Caribe. While delicious, I would have preferred they indicate on the menu how many were to be provided in an order or served 4 rather than 3 to make it easier to share.
Then tried the guacamole. Very nice and the tortilla chips delicious.
We sat outside and while the temperature was perfect, the amount of truck traffic going by was oppressive.
