During a 5 day visit to Minneapolis we ate at Keys at Foshay twice. Initially we joined a group of 28 for supper. We all thoroughly enjoyed our homestyle meals. The Turkey dinner and Pot Roast dinners were especially yummy. If you have room, the bread pudding is a great dessert option or take home a large chocolate/peanut butter bar, cut it in 4 pieces and eat it over several days like I did.
When we were there for dinner we noticed the great breakfast options on the menu so we decided to stop .by for Breakfast a few days later. From omelettes, to pancakes to hash, again our meal were thoroughly enjoyed. We wished we didn't live 800 miles away, so we could visit again.

Our first afternoon in Minneapolis, we needed a quick bite before setting off to explore. Keys Cafe has a great Happy Hour deal, with a healthy drink menu, tasty apps and a free additional savory treat, which was endless pizza on the night we were there. We also tried the poppers and the potstickers, and would easily repeat them. The attentive server and great bar area added to our enjoyment. Easy to find at the base of the Foshay Tower.

Keys is awesome! I've never had a bad meal here. They serve huge portions of comfort food and breakfast all day. Plus, Key's Famous Caramel Rolls are the best in the state (yes they are way better than Tobies in Hinkley)

Keys Cafe has several locations scattered around the Twin Cities. It's a family run business that has been around since the 70's. The portions are so big here you could easily split most meals and still leave full. My favorite breakfast item is their "Loon" omelet. It's filled with wild rice, turkey, onions, mushrooms, and smothered with a wonderful pepper gravy sauce on top. I would recommend just about everything on the breakfast menu.

Keys is nothing fancy. Don't expect a life changing meal. This is old fashioned, home cooking comfort food. Served in greasy giant sized portions. It may not be the best breakfast of your life, but you definitely wont leave hungry.

Visited Keys for breakfast with a group of five and had an excellent meal. My hubby and brother in law had to try the cinnamon French toast and it was huge!! So was my egg white veggie omlet!! It was amazing and the stuck the hash browns INSIDE the omlet - making it even better!!! The home made jam was a great touch and the coffee was excellent. It was busy - but it was Saturday morning. Though it wasn't busy we didn't have to wait long to be seated or even get our food. Service was wonderful too. Highly recommend this place

We had breakfast here. It was ok but nothing special. The eggs benny is my go to but I don't like the hollandaise sauce, it has a funky taste. The ham was thin and looked and tasted like it can straight from the deli. My husband had an omelet but was not impressed. We will stop here if it our only choice. There are better places.
