This restaurant is in the DSL building of the Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. You can enter from the street or from the mall and there is "outdoor" seating in the Crystal Court of the mall. The atmosphere is relaxing despite the lunchtime crowd. The service was friendly and fairly good (waiter forgot to bring my wine and I had to ask the chef who brought my food). The booths and tables were roomy and there was seating around the bar where patrons can watch sports on a large screen TV. I ordered a Salmon BLT which came with in-house potato chips that were light and delicious. The salmon was tasty, lightly seared, the toast was multi-grain, the bacon peppered, and the dressing was flavoured with thyme. The meal was filling without making you feel bloated at the end. An extremely pleasant luncheon.

We stopped in one week night evening. Sat at the bar and watched the first half of Monday Night Football. Seating is as quick. Service was excellent. Food was just so so. Soup of the day was pretty good. I have never tasted such a boring salad. I also had the bread pudding- a connoisseur I am? It was okay. I am convinced that the best bread pudding in made by someone’s grandma in Mobile.

Nice ambience, upscale, swanky, modern. Highly recommend the sesame ahi & blackened (not the too fatty & salty seared ahi with foie gras), the mission salad, prime rib, short ribs, salmon and chicken breast, yes, the $28 chicken breast is worth every penny.

Very overpriced , over seasoned, & oddly soft filet mignon. Granted, I only tried it once, just don't wanna risk another $40

This place is a popular wrapping up the week Friday after work for drink & bites. Outdoor seating is available, but we choose to be indoor looking out. It is a very modern bar that we went in for Happy Hour. It is hard to locate, but is just 1/2 block East of Nicollet Mall on 7th Street. We had Happy Hour Beers for $4. ea. & the cornmeal rock shrimp for $7. Mitchell was our wait person & he was chatty & very good. This hit the spot for us & we will be back to try scallops & other good looking appetizers.
