I stayed here for two nights with my family for two nights. The staff was awesome, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. Flat screen TVs with a lot of HD channels. Microwave, fridge and super comfortable pillow top beds. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. I would TOTALLY stay here again. I highly recommend. Oh, and they have coffee and juice in the mornings. We went to the new 24hr Denny's next door for breakfast.

Room Tip: There's a fun bar down the street called Clives roadhouse, we went there for dinner. Great food!

The service at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! There was no breakfast, just juice and coffee, but Denny's was almost next door. We had to go literally from one end of the hotel to the other to get ice because the was only the one machine at the far end in the smoking section of the motel. The room was not in good condition - fixture cover missing in the bathroom, hole in the bathroom door, wide blue stripe showing on the TV which interfered with viewing and the cable reception went in and out, wifi was not strong enough to reach our room, heat blew cold air and thermostat was on to regulate the heat so the blower on the wall unit was working constantly, several tears in the couch cover, splashed food spots on the wall by the trash can. We were not impressed with the maintenance or cleanliness of the building.

It's ok but there's others in the same price range that are better like microtel in Bloomington. I would stay here again if I had to but otherwise I would look for a better and safer place. It is right off of 35w and close to valley fair, Canterbury downs and mall of america isn't that far away.

Rates for hotels anywhere around Minneapolis are ridiculous. This average hotel is out in the suburbs, but close enough to several attractions and downtown, too. It isn't in the best area, but cross the Main Street and everything changes to a great area. However, many people walk around this area to local restaurants, so I'm not trying to to give a wrong impression that the area is a dangerous one.

My room was quiet, clean and comfortable. I had a very comfy bed and pillows. Lighting was OK. I also had a comfy couch. Towels are nice, bath amenities are decent. Staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. In fact, the desk staff are fun to talk to and get information from. Laundry room. Parking is good.

Good rates. I would probably stay again.

This hotel wasn't terrible but was far from great. This appears to be a very old property. It is not located in a great part of town. Rooms were small and dated looking. There is no elevator to the second floor. Breakfast is not included. While the rate was better than most hotels in the area, we didn't consider it a good deal after staying there. We wished we would have spent an extra $30-$40 and stayed in a nicer place (wouldn't have had to buy breakfast).
