Thank you Raschelle.. Your service at the Ice cream Barn was spectacular. Your Pig latin was spot on. The free samples were quite divine.Homemade Icecream is like rare fine wine to me.Special Unique and very satisfying. Your All natural Pistachio on a waffle cone is pure Heaven. My wife had the Banana Peanut butter cup which was superb. We sat on homemade Oak benches and watched Cows and Texas longhorn cattle grazing in a field across the street.Located on Locust street in Swansea just after the right to the Swansea Mall. The Ice cream Barn gets 5 stars.

Innovative flavors, all natural ingredients, and good people. Taste it and you'll be back. Their coffee milk ice cream has been around for a while -- and real mint makes the mint chocolate chip amazing.

The Ice Cream Barn uses milk produced at Baker Farm to make their ice cream. This was one of the places listed in "10 ice cream places to take your sweet tooth this summer" in the Fall River area. It is the 7th place from that list that we've visited.

They also make their own waffle cones and waffle bowls. i saw the waffle bowls to late (I don't usually do cones), but the girlfriend had a waffle cone. That, along with her Pumpkin ice cream made her a happy woman. I had the Coffee Milk ice cream with some hot fudge. A small is sufficient and it came out to $9.00 and change, which is pretty average across the places we've visited this summer.

Inside is clean, the staff is friendly, service is about as quick as you could expect, and the ice cream is wonderful. Full of flavor, creamy and made by them. The Ice Cream Barn is a contender along with Helgers and Simcock Farm for the best of the summer.

Give it try, you'll be glad you did!

Almost no line the day I went there, and the ice cream was phenomenal! Nice view of long horned cattle and wooden benches to enjoy your ice cream.

Ambiance of cows and ice creams dreams in a historic family farm make this place a must visit. However, amidst good ice cream are ordinary and less than stellar toppings. "Hot Fudge" is chocolate syrup not hot fudge, the strawberry sundae is that mushy syrupy stuff, where this place could impress with "fresh strawberries" grown on their own farm. And the list of the other ordinaries goes on... You'll get the fifth star when you put that "fresh" cherry on top....pretty please!
