O bi (night audit) was very helpful & accommodating when I checked in. He was very professional & courteous.
The property is recently renovated with nice amenities.
The property is conveniently located off of I-95.
There is plenty of parking.
The area appears very safe.

Cleaning staff threw my personal items away. On the morning I was checking out I took my luggage to the car, and then went to the lobby for breakfast with my colleges. I had left items that are in my pockets in the room because after breakfast when we were ready to leave, I was going to go back to the room, put the items in my pockets, get a bottle of coke I had left out of the refrigerator, use the facilities and then check out and leave. When I returned to the room "before I had checked out", they had cleaned my room. Threw away: my personal pen, comb, handkerchief, small bottle of medicine I carry, and of course the bottle of soda from the refrigerator. It's good I had not left my wallet! I have not stayed in this hotel for 5 years it used to be great, now they just don't seem to care. Basic process of determining when someone has checked out before going into the room to clean is not even followed.

In town for the week for work. The hotel offers a bar/food. No complimentary breakfast, however the burrito was BALLIN, despite its $15 price. The gym is adequately equipped, rooms are pretty decent with their own sliding glass doors for easy outside access. 2 stars for the greatest let down of 2023 so far. Came back from dinner and noticed my TV remote was gone after room service came. I called the front desk, she said they’d have “someone look for one.” 15 minutes later, no call back. I called again, she said “my shift is ending but they’re looking for one.” Aka, “I’m off, not my problem.” I said it’s late at night, that doesn’t sound promising. She said she promises they’re looking right now. I guess her promises are like my wife’s when she says “tonight, I promise.” Lies. 45 minutes later, I lay here at 11:11, and it’s time to make a wish. I wish I could watch TV.

***Update***- JK. Still waiting.

Room tip: Bring a spare tv remote. LG. You’re welcome.

I prefer to stay on the first floor of a hotel. I was put in a room that is DIRECTLY across a narrow hallway (~4 feet) from a meeting room. Two of the 4 mornings that I was there, I was awakened early (~5:30 am) by employees setting up the room.

On the last morning, I heard a loud door banging closed every 20-30 seconds for 30 minutes, then it slowed down to every 2 to 3 minutes.

On my first morning, a breakfast meeting was held in the room starting sometime between 6:30-7:30 am, serving at least 25 people that was held with the door OPEN. You can imagine how noisy that was!

This is a terrible design for a hotel. What’s worse, though, is that guests are put in the rooms directly across from the meeting room. At the very least, the hotel should refrain from placing guests in rooms 174 to 182.

If it were not for the early morning racket, I would have rated this hotel as a 4 or 5 (if free/tea coffee was served in the lobby/breakfast area) . The double rooms are spacious and clean. The view from the first floor rooms is onto a garden/patio courtyard in the center of the hotel. There are 2 wicker chairs and a small table outside the sliding glass doors, but I don’t think the sliding glass doors actually open (at least I couldn’t figure out how to do it). I appreciated having daily housekeeping services, although I wasn’t expecting it.

Finally, be aware that large groups (100+) of high school students descend on the hotel during the summers to come visit the nation’s Capitol.

Great place to stay to visit cherry blossom festival. Good location, walk to metro, could take shuttle. Pillow top bed, renovated rooms, landscaped courtyard, with our own patio. On site bistro convenient, adequate food. Friendly front desk, helpful and efficient staff.
We felt comfortable, safe, rested.

Room tip: Courtyard facing rooms are quiet, have patio with chairs and side table .

Stayed here twice in the past month, first trip was fine. Room clean and exercise room had ok equipment.

The review is based on my second visit. I got into bed and as I turned back the sheets, there was dried blood. I was utterly repulsed. Carpeting was a busy pattern, but think there were splotches of blood there too.

What the hotel did right - when I called they immediately sent someone up with a room key for a new room. The apologized profusely. Offered me points for my problem.

What the hotel didn't do right - housekeeping needs to be trained better, not sure how this could have happened and the points were laughable - 1,000.
