At first there was a slight issue..but Marcus great fully corrected it. He was very helpful, polite and professional. He made you feel right at home. The amenities were very good..close to restaurants and the breakfast was pretty good..I would definitely stay again.
The stay was just average. The rooms were clean but missed the overall IHG experience and quality. The breakfast spread was limited. The hotel is in the outskirts of Washington DC. Would definitely not recommend if your planning for a DC visit. Would take at least 20-30 min to reach the city and 30-45 mins from DCA.
I like reviews before I make a purchase. I read a lot of reviews on this hotel most good a few bad. I don't understand the bad ones after spending 3 nights here. The staff was great. The room was clean and comfortable. free parking, which when considering other hotels closer to D.C., is kind of a big deal. 20-30 minutes to DC. plenty of restaurant choices a close driving distance. breakfast was pretty good. I mean what do you want for $130ish a night? I can't think of a complaint. if I find myself in the area again Im staying here.
One thing that started off great was an issue with our stay not being accurately booked but easily modified and Hotel Management handled it well. our room and the carpet was very moist, and smelled a little , breakfast was unacceptable, too many people not enough food, guest in front of me pretty much emptied the entire breakfast selection on to her plate leaving me and my family with no option but to check out and buy breakfast elsewhere( usually doesn’t matter because we don’t eat at hotels but this was pretty meh) so ultimately I wouldn’t mind staying here again but it was also not the greatest.

An OK hotel, nothing to really complain about, but nothing to get excited about either. It is a good distance from downtown DC, so bear that in mind when planning your visit. An Uber to downtown can take between 15 – 30 minutes, depending on the time of day. Plenty of free parking at the hotel.
We stayed in May, but the pool hadn’t reopened for the summer season. Breakfast was forgettable, but it served its purpose. There were plenty of shops within walking distance, but for a decent restaurant we had to travel further afield.
Our room was at the end of the hallway, on the ground floor and, on our second night, there was quite a lot of noise from the stairway beside us, which made sleep difficult.
In summary, I’d have no issue booking again, but I’d prefer to stay somewhere closer to downtown.
