The place we stayed recommended this restaurant. It's seating is picnic tables on a dock. The staff was very nice and the food was very good. Soft shell lobster (easier to shell than hard shell) corn on the cob, a huge, soft, yummy dinner roll and some slaw. Didn't have to wait too long for the food to arrive. I didn't care for the slaw but everything else was great. The couple at the next table got the hard shell and needed the waitress to crack the shell for them. That was quite entertaining. WARNING: The restroom is a port-a-john. It was clean but still...

Good lobster roll, corn, blueberry soda, and pie. The view from the pier was outstanding. Friendly staff

They serve muscles, clams, and whole lobsters. Simple menu. Not much there for adults who don't like seafood.

You truly believe you are driving to the end of the earth to get to this place, but the food is scrumptous!!! It is just a little shack leading to a dock with tables on it and the lobster boats at the end of the dock. Don't be fooled by the scant environment, this place is the bomb and the staff is so friendly you can hardly believe it - they do still believe in customer service!!
**Make sure to ask if Gram's Mac-n-Cheese is available (it's not always), if it is, you MUST order it!!!! This is like nothing I have ever had and it is loaded with lobster! Unbelievably delicious!!

We were given a gift certificate by our family to eat here. Please read to the end...we drove to the most remote pound in the world to find parking in a front yard, porta potties, lots of rain and no indoor dining. We were the only ones there and wondered if we had lost our minds. Rather than lose the $100 gift, we stayed. They dried off a booth, raised the over sized umbrella, and we started one of our most favorite adventures ever! The owners and staff were off the charts friendly and welcoming. The lobsters and mussels were the best we have had from Portland to Boothbay to Acadia! We have never had mussels so clean...zero grains of sand! We watched our 2 lb. lobsters leave the boat and go straight to the pot! Beat that for freshness! They were cooked perfectly. We also had the blueberry pie, chocolate cheesecake, and the blueberry cheesecake. They were all exceptional, but the chocolate was unforgettable...as was our entire experience. They are all very proud of their stellar reputation and enjoy their customers. It was refreshing to see their dedication to serving good food and proving exceptional service. Don't miss this place. We have heard it is very popular and has quite a wait on some nights. There were only four of us, and you must have six for a reservation. You may want to have the place to yourself like us crazies on a stormy night!

We had our first Lobster dinner here this past Sunday and it was perfection. It was cooked perfectly and the steamed clams just right. We stayed in a house close enough to watch the Lobster boats drop off the days catch. Very friendly staff and we had take out one night too.
