Description: Serving Outstanding Pub Fare from 11AM – 10:30PM Daily Andy’s Old Port Pub is a waterfront watering hole frequented by tourists, islanders, fishermen, music lovers and locals. A tricky little Pub to find. Andy’s menu includes the freshest of fish & chips; one of the best burgers in town; home made meatloaf and macaroni and cheese; salads and wraps; and pizzas that rival New York’s finest. One of the owners is vegetarian so there are always meat free options to choose from.

Stumbled into Andy's by accident on Saturday to have a drink and watch the Masters. The drinks were great, in fact I commented that my Manhattan was fantastic. Not everybody gets it right. Nice size, not the biggest but not those tiny glasses either.

We ordered a few aps, clam chowder, fried oysters and clams and a bowl of mussels. The chowder came out quick but the the fried food and mussels took forever. We wern't in a big hurry but we finally asked about the aps. Wanted to be certain they were ordered. They apologized of course and said the kitchen was slow. No worries, we were just happy things were on the way. the food was fine, maybe the mussels could have been hotter but they were acceptable.

I have to say that the service here was great. Everybody was very attentive and very cordial.

So, here's the lucky part. They took the aps off the bill. I said it wasn't necessary because the food was fine and we were not in a hurry. They felt the delay in presenting the food was beneath their standards (not their words) and took the aps off the bill. Now that's a place that cares about their customers!! I told them I would write a nice review.

The food here was great, the atmosphere is pub-ish vs restaurant but very nice. The people showed that they care.

I'd go back.

Thank-you for taking the time to write your review as well as the four stars. We will continue to work on those details and hopefully will be able to garner that fifth star upon your return. Happy travels and may your "luck" continue.

I had a great time here and we stumbled upon this place walking around Portland on a Friday late afternoon. We were visiting Portland from out of town and were looking for a local place to get good seafood.

This place delivered!! Lobster Bruschetta and the Lobster salad that we had was delicious! I literally had nothing bad to say about these dishes. Also the wines available and that we drank were very good! Highly recommend this place!!!

Stumbled on this place on the waterfront. I needed to kill some time before the Maine beer tour departed on the next block. We were there around 4 pm on a Friday and Ordered a pint of Peeper for $3.50 during happy hour and enjoyed some chowder, fish tacos and a clam roll. Peeper is a great local ale. Fish tacos included a generous portion of fresh grilled fish. Great tacos! A few locals in the bar area and it’s a pretty low key place. No music in the bar area during happy hour, cool metal maritime artwork on the walls, and good attentive staff.

Thank you for discovering us and deciding to "stumble" in.

As you probably noticed we take great pride in trying to provide our customers with what we believe is some of the finest local foods and beers. 11 of the 12 taps pour some of the best craft beers that Maine has to offer. Additionally we are a "Culinary Partner" with the Gulf of Maine Research Institute which allows us to display the seal showing we serve some of the freshest and most sustainably harvested seafoods from the Gulf of Maine.

We hope to serve you in the near future and promise that we will continually strive for that fifth star. Thank-you again.

Stopped in for an afternoon drink and app - lively place, greater prices and tasty drinks. Had a margarita and potato pizza. Awesome pizza - first time tasting the potatoe, bacon and cheese pizza. THis was our second time stopping in for a drink and will definitely give Andy's another try when traveling through Portland.
