Nice place. Got a really nice impression when saw all the mardi gras decoration at arrival. Food was excellent, the stuffed shrimp is delicious and having 2 for 1 margaritas is a plus. Service was okay. Waitress was really nice but took her sometime to come back to check on me but in general, great experience.

Pretty good chargrilled oysters. The crawfish ravioli was really good. Give it a try. The help was outstanding.

Ordered brunch on a Saturday. Food too longer than others ordering off regular menu. Food was cold when it finally arrived. Eggs Benedict came without hollandaise. Not again.

When you order in advance from a restaurant like this you should have a reasonable expectation the food will be ready at the committed time. Well that’s not always the case. For the cost of the food I would expect timely AND friendly service. Got there 5 minutes before 530pm when my order was scheduled for pickup and I got the impression they had not started it yet. I finally got my food 20 minutes after the time it was to be ready. And for my wait I was able to watch a rude hostess practically chase patrons out of the restaurant and they gave me three loaves of bread. Not the best experience. Now I have to saw the chicken Alfredo we ordered was some of the best I have ever had.

Don’s seafood in Gonzales is definitely a restaurant worth recommending to friends. I was seated promptly, and the food was delivered in very reasonable time. Our server, Taylor, was extremely personable and sweet. Her smile brightened the gloomy night considerably. The food itself was very tasty and fairly priced. I will definitely consider returning with the rest of my family for our next big event!
