I called ahead on Thursday for stay on Saturday got confirmation # and was told the place was all booked for weekend so had to take a down grade on the room we wanted. how ever when we on got there on sat the parking lot was empty and when we went in to register they had no knowledge of our reservation but the ladies at the desk told us no problem because there was only two other people staying there, we had a good laugh. the front doors needed a coat of paint, in our room it was clean ad comfortable but the wall paper was pulling loose in places in the bath room it had a small amount of mold around top of tub. All in all it was not bad just needed to be redecorated. the breakfast was nice and clean, and we saw the ladies cleaning every time we came in or left. we will stay there again.

If you cannot get to Owensboro, or Bowling Green, if traveling north and south or unable to get to Cental City or Hatfield Inn, if traveling east and west, then this is a good place to stay. It is what it is, a two star hotel under $80.

This appears to be an ex Days Inn. We've stayed here twice this summer

I'm torn between giving the hotel 2 or 3 stars. I wish I could give 2.5 stars.

On the 3 star side, the rooms and furnishings are relatively new, and comfortable. The room and hotel in general was clean. The continental breakfast area is pretty spacious as those things go. Continental breakfast offerings were tasty and fresh, but were missing commonly offered items such as fresh fruit, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. The staff seemed friendly.

On the 2 star side, it seems that the hotel does not do a good job of taking care of small things that go wrong. The hotel does offer a lobby computer. It was broken two months ago when we visited, and was still broken last week when we visited a second time. At some time in the recent past the hotel moved the bedside wall lamps. In both rooms both times, the hotel failed to fix the holes in the wall from the old lamp positioning. In both rooms, the bath areas had wallpaper damage above the tubs and small holes from condensation damage to the walls (note the bath areas were quite acceptable aside from this problem). The in room coffee maker would not turn on. There were other small problems, but you get the point.

If you can live with small problems, this is not a bad place. If not, Owensboro, a short drive away, is probably a better place to lay your head.

If you need to stay in Beaver Dam, this is the best place.

Again, I wish I could give the hotel 2.5 stars.Since I can't, I'll give it 3 stars because it really is not a bad place.

The staff is super! Room was clean and smelled nice. If you stay in Beaver Dam stay here. I read reviews on other place no so good. This place is not bad. I didn't stay cause of the room decor but it could update. But honestly it was a decent and clean place . Your average continental breakfast. It was fine!

We stayed at this motel purely by accident. Looked fair with some big weeds out front(should have been a warning). Staff was very, very polite, room well, ceiling fan shook uncontrollably, I swore it was coming out of the ceiling. The crack across the entire room was splitting (apparently where the drywall used to be seamed. The bath fan did not work. The paint had about 5 or 6 versions of the same color throughout, some flat, some gloss, some semi on the same walls. Decor was mid 70's to early 80's.Stains on every piece of furniture we seen. Breakfast fair...again staff very polite....Was ready to leave won't be back.

Room tip: Go on down the road to Central City where there are 3 very nice properties which are much cleaner and worth the extra $10
