A small but excellent nature center located in a former house on grounds that include a playground and a short scenic hike on the trails that border the property. The admission is free ... you can leave a donation. The center is staffed with knowledgeable personable people who are very adept at answering questions and allow hands on examination of the bearded dragon lizard and snakes. Live turtles and other wonderful exhibits keep the kids and adults interest. There are also microscopes for closer looks at various nature related slides. Highly recommend... our granddaughters, age 6 and 9 throughly enjoyed the visit.
A great place to learn about nature in and around the village! Lots of hands on activities for children.
The family visited this town for the first time, visiting the shops and ate at one of the restaurants. This was something nice to do to take a break from the rest. The kids got to look at a few animals. Look at things under a microscope and play on the playground outside. They enjoyed it and learned something at the same time.
The kids thought this would be lame. They were not looking forward to it. Once we got there though, they were excited about the programs and all the things to see and do. Very well run and very informative.
Beautiful retreat with learning opportunities. Great for kids who need some fresh air and playtime. They have a nice little playground there for the young ones too.
Right behind Eagle Elementary school. Lots of cool animal facts and animals throughout the whole nature center. A must-do!
