I have been living here for 10 months due to the covid 19 to protect my family. The last month a new manager named Donna was brought in. She has made an impressive difference in the quality of the property with upgrades in amenities and security. It is a safe and comfortable place to stay short or long term with very good maintenance and very good housekeeping.
Had a reservation here through Red Roofs ready rewards program with a confirmation of room rate of $63.00 + tax. At check in was told over $90.00 + tax.
They figure once you're there they can charge whatever rate they want & you will just pay it. Not! Went down the road to a much nicer looking facility for the price I was supposed to get as a Ready Rewards customer who is supposed to get great pricing. The hotel we stayed at had a great rate without any special " program".
We love Red Roof Inn 'cause we take our dog at no additional cost. This one was clean, pleasant, just a bit run down. Great people on the front desk. The owner recommended the Thai Restaurant 2 minutes walking distance from motel. Great food!
The hotel receptionist did a good job. She was pleasant and professional. Thus, what would have been a score of '1' becomes a '2.'
The room was very small and not in good condition. Nearly every corner of the room had puckered, peeling paint. The front curtain was partially broken, so we had to be creative to ensure our privacy. There were sections of the floor missing and the one electrical outlet I used didn't have a proper cover. The bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable. The room is badly in need of updating. The heat/air conditioning unit was very noisy. It's as if the owners of this location have simply stopped caring. This was not a discount room, so I can't even blame this one a "you get what you pay for" situation, because I'm used to getting breakfast, free coffee and a decent room for the amount of money I paid to stay here. Breakfast and coffee are not included.
This please was very nice to stay at and the people were amazing to work with and helped me get in to my room quickly. They are just amazing people there and you should this place for your next stay!!!
