I have tried this place twice, thinking the first time had to be a fluke. Nope.
Let's back up to April 2017 -- girl stumbling around the halls, very obviously intoxicated or drugged or both. She was quite a show and we wondered at first if we should be concerned and watching for trafficking. She was quite obviously a paid for gal. At some point during our stay she had a little too much fun and we heard later she had OD'ed and died. Probably explains some of those stains on the beds.
Ok, so that stay was less than stellar but tried again during another visit to Indy. I've been a loyal RR guest for ages, so I thought time would heal wounds. Still the same old stains, plus the bugs everyone has photographed, and a whole new set of druggie escorts. Maybe if you'll stay you'll get lucky, too, and see one go out under a white sheet -- something I never thought I'd explain to a 4 year old witness.
The Boston Crusaders stayed at the Red Roof Inn during DCI finals and my son’s belongings got left behind. Shout out to Jo for keeping his things in a secure area and for volunteering to go above and beyond her job description to help us get them back! There are good honest people in this world. Great customer service. It’s not always easy to find accommodations for large groups of young people and it’s nice to know that they are welcome. Thank you!!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone it’s is clean, quiet, and great location! The beds are comfortable and rooms cozy! The staff is very kind and helpful, especially Jo! Jo has been so good to me; while I am working to get back on my feet. She keeps things running smoothly and comfortably.
Our check-in person, Angie, was quick to greet us and very friendly, competent and courteous! Even got us a lower price per night, and signed us up for Rewards program. Location is very convenient to many restaurants, and not too far from Grand Park, which was our primary destination. Comfortable, clean room although the shower was stained which made it look dirty - maybe an update is needed. Otherwise, all good, and loved having micro and fridge in room. This was our second year to stay at this hotel and we will definitely return!
