Had high hopes for this restaurant, decent atmosphere, friendly service and pretty decent calamari. It ended there. I had the Pollo Saltimbocca, the sauce was horrible, the chicken was overcooked. I got "risotto" on the side, that was NOT risotto, it was not creamy at all and just bad. My salad had been dressed hours before and was wilted, the server did bring me another with dressing on the side. My husband had the pork chops, which had been brined WAY too long, so long the texture was terrible. The gorgonzola sauce that came with it sounds like it would be good, but does not work at all with the pork. Just yuck. Very disappointed.

figured i would try this locally owned establishment since it was right next to my hotel. glad i did as it was excellent. great service and the lausana was excellent.

Food was good but Taylor was fantastic! Out of towners...we were put on a wait list and that time frame was surpassed. Taylor was attentive enough to notice and was able to get us a table right away. Taylor I hope you see this. Keep up the great customer service, we noticed. Thank you!

Group of 5 of us arrived for late lunch.

The Hostess never greeted us. She came over to us, got the menu's from under the stand, and said "Come this way". Placed menus on the table and left. Minimal interaction with us.

We ordered our meals. Bread was brought to the table with butter, olive oil and parmesan cheese.

The bread had no flavor. Olive oil was plain, and the grated parmesan had no flavor.

Salads arrived, the Italian dressing had no flavor, those who ordered ceasar salad said the salads were good.

The main dishes were good, everybody enjoyed their main dishes.

While attention was paid to the main dish, the accompaniments were an after thought.

Overall experience was short of what was anticipated.

When I last went to Casa Ristorante, I chose the eggplant parm and let me tell you it was not the best. However, the time before that, it was pretty delicious! This is why I have mixed reviews about Casa. Also, another experience that I had was that my food was taking a very long time to be made and I was feeling pretty hungry. My waiter however, apologized for the long wait and made my soda free. So overall I liked it but I don't know how I really feel...
