My husband and I have just returned from spending a superb stay over the Christmas period. Our stay was faultless. Lovely location, fabulous food, comfortable accommodation and wonderful staff who couldn’t do enough for you. This, along with being able to take our little dogs with us made the whole experience absolutely perfect.
So good we have already booked for next Christmas!

Another viusit to the Dartmoor Hotel for 'Breakfast' in the Tinpickle & Rhum Bistro. Another excellent meal with good service and a reasonable price. Will go again soon.The Hotel part is now fully refurbished and bookings for both accomodation and meals is essential.

Very nice comfortable hotel nothing to much trouble for the very friendly polite staff.
Fabulous king size beds very clean lovely linen fresh milk in fridge fruit and welcome cakes . Excellent food .
Beautiful conservatory overlooking lovely manicured gardens .

The Moorland is a beautiful hotel. The rooms were fantastic. You could tell there was a lot of thought put into the decoration. Eating breakfast in the cosy Tin Pickle and Rhum was a lovely day to start the day. I had the smaller breakfast but it was big enough ... and then fancied some blueberry pancakes, which were large soft and so fluffy. All in all a lovely place to stay or eat or both. The views were amazing.

Had our second stay at the Moorland a couple of weeks ago.Enjoyed it the first time but even more so the second despite awful weather.Loved our tinsel and Turkey break Special thanks to all the staff and the new manager for making all of us on our coach trip so welcome and making sure we all had a good time.Cant wait to return next year.
