Two of us stopped in here on the way back from Palmerston North, heading back up to Napier. Although this place isn't very well sign posted, it is well worth stopping in. Entry price is cheap, and he gave us a slight discount because we couldn't stay overly long.

He is obviously very passionate about clocks, with a huge collection and he had just brought several more when we arrived. No doubt he has a story about every clock in the collection, and happily shared plenty of them when he showed us around. Would have loved to spent a little more time in here, the collection was amazing. Well worth stopping in and taking a look.

A whole bunch of us (approx 20) took a visit to Colyton Clocks. We were given an informative guided tournprior to being left alone to wander.
I was amazed at the collection. Well worth a look.

Bill has a passion for clocks and as well as Bill regularly buying them people (like myself) donate clocks so they have a good home. Bill bought an old building and had it transported to his property in the country. Every clock has a story and Bill shares these stories willingly. There is an amazing range - from the serious to the fun.

There is a lack of signage to get to this place but once you get there you will not regret it, as there is something for everyone and the owner will spare no lack of effort informing you about each piece if you ask and loves to show you around the massive collection
