This is a great tour and a great bar....the bar alone is worthy of a visit. The tour was fun and informative and our guide Dana was superb...you get a few tasters along the way and a souvenir glass at the end. I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone who loves beer....

Melissa was a great tour guide! She was knowledgeable and fun. Yes, you get beer samples on the tour. Yes, you get beer samples after the tour. They go through the whole brewing and bottling process, and they even take you to the barrel storage room. A nice quick tour (about an hour) for only $12, and they even give you a nice souvenir pint glass. I enjoyed the entire tour.....and I don't even drink!

We decided to go to Goose Island because we read that they offer a great range of beers that are hard to find anywhere else and they did not disappoint! They have a large beer list for a brewery and everything I had was amazing. Tours are $12 per person and come with the tour, some beer, and a glass. We didn’t go on the tour but did sit at the bar to have a few beers. They sell each beer by half or full pour and prices vary. I had a flight of half pours (312, the Pilsner, a porter, & maybe an amber beer?) all four were amazing and taste really different than they seem to taste anywhere else. I would definitely suggest a stop here! Also there are several breweries within walking distance....

Our tour guy, Eric, was an interesting little guy. He was funny when he didn't realize it and that made for a good time. Great information on the tour and free tastes too! If you have a good time like we did, throw some cash at the tour guide to show your gratitude. They might get free beer but that don't pay the bills. I like that you can buy sample sizes here and try all the different beers on tap. They offer flights as well. Some people asked if they had food, so just pointing out that this is a brewery not serving food. It's all about the beer here. Bonus, free parking.

About an hour long. Great time and very interesting. Groups are about 10-15 and 3 different beer samples along the way. After an opportunity to hit the tasting room and buy a sixer. Drink lots of beer!
