If your in Chicago and you are looking for the perfect Italian dinner, think Rosebud in Rush.

The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting and the staff greeted us as if we were family.

The food, was incredible. Not just some of the food, but all the food.

The highlights of the night were the calamari appetizer and the linguini & clams. Not sure how they were able to Bread the calamari so lightly and fry them so tender but they were the best I’ve ever eaten.

Calamari & Clams was exceptional as well. Pasta was fresh and cooked perfectly. Texture but not over cooked. Sauce was spicy red sauce that was full of flavor.

I’m eager to visit this restaurant again and try other great dishes.

Just took my 18 and 14 year old daughters for dinner during our girly weekend. All dressed up and feeling fancy. From the minute you walk into this beautiful restaurant you feel that you walked back in time. The staff was unbelievable from the hostess to waiters to the house manager. It was that feel of a supper club from 50-60 years ago. Beautiful atmosphere but also inviting and comfortable.

The food was outstanding! I had been there many years ago and remembered large portions. We asked if we could share a couple of plates. Of course!!! But on top of that it was beautifully plated for each of us at the table.

Oh the Spumoni chocolate bomb was amazing!!!

Just great Italian food. From the bread to the apps and dinner. We had calamari, oysters, sausage and peppers to start. Followed by seafood pasta special, penne alla vodka and the chicken parm - that ginormous! Great wine list and service awesome. A must if you are hungry for Italian.

Pleasant surprise, expecting lunch but there was a brunch menu. Choices from breakfast foods to pasta. Food was abundant and very good. We sat in the heated “outdoor” seating area, nice on a cold day to sit and watch people walk by. Staff was wonderful and the manager walked around talking to patrons. Been enjoying this place for at least 20 years, never disappoints!

Really fun on a warm summer evening. Lots to see on Rush St and to be able to eat some tasty Italian classics while we people watched
