I've gone kayaking at the riverwalk and Monroe Harbor locations, and I've gone paddle boarding at Monroe Harbor, and every time I've had a great experience. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the equipment is in good condition. So much fun! I highly recommend kayaking or paddle boarding; it's a great way to see Chicago from a different vantage point. Kayaking in Monroe Harbor is also a great family activity. I've taken my kids several times and they are asking to go again!

If you do nothing else while visiting Chicago do this! Urban Kayaks is the best way to see the city from the Chicago river or the lakefront. The staff is friendly and professional and will teach you everything you know to navigate the Chicago river or the lakefront safely. Kayaking is fun for the whole family, you can rent kayaks by the hour or take a group tour. If you're in town on a Wednesday or Saturday, take the evening tour and watch the fireworks!

They were so kind and the guides were outstanding. Everyone we interacted with was so extremely nice and accommodating. I highly recommend using this group and going on the sunset tour!
