It was a perfect day for this, and the guide was FANTASTIC and FUNNY! I felt safe the whole time with guides in front and back. Pictures were easy to take. Don't forget to put sunscreen on the dorsal side of the hand. :) Enjoy!

While walking around Chicago I stumbled upon Urban Kayak on the waterfront. Extremely perceptive and knowledgeable staff. Had a great paddle around the Harbor with outstanding views of the Chicago skyline. Must do for any active traveler.

Kayaking on the river is a great way to see Chicago's architecture up close. It takes a bit of effort but it isn't too strenuous. Highly recommend one warm summer day.

I took a kayak tour of the Chicago River over July 4th weekend. The tour went the length of the main branch and our guide provided some interesting history. It is a very unique way to see the beautiful buildings that line the river. The water is a bit rough and there is a lot of boat traffic but the guides are really good at making sure you keep up and are safe.
