Good afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback from your recent stay with us.

Am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Please allow me to express my sincerest apologies for the for the long wait at check-in and valet parking price. We are continuing to improve the service by adding additional staffing. We unfortunately don't offer breakfast with standard reservation, however, there is an option to book a reservation with bed and breakfast that would include it. As for Housekeeping, we are working very hard to get back to pre-COVID and provide daily service and truly apologize that we missed the service for your room.

We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future.

Sincerely,

George Sous

Not really ready for prime time again. The Palm Restaurant is the only good thing really. Still no food service (other than room service breakfast), no bar, not nearly enough people covering the front desk. Thank goodness they have a Palm attached!

Every turn was a hassle to get service. We waited 30 minutes to check in. There were only 3 people in front of us and all had issues to work through with the front desk. I saw a manager walk by several times and just watch the line grow. He could have at least said something to the line of guests waiting. You are short staffed? Say something like "bear with us folks." On the second the morning I just wanted a cup of coffee. There was another line at the bar. It was not moving. I walked a few blocks to another hotel, got coffee, and walked past the line still growing. I would suggest putting out free coffee for your guests...like any 2 star Comfort Inn. That way your guests can grab and go.

The kids suite was way more spacious than expected for our family of 6. Tons of games to keep kids occupied (5-11 years of age), plenty of room to space out and unwind.
Suite was generously furnished with games and activities

Only quibbles were that half the staff were unaware of perks that are advertised like free movie nightly, free breakfast etc. Was annoying having to explain these things to the front desk and billing people. Should be more seamless. I spent at least a half hour explaining and re explaining how it worked to them.

Other issue which is somewhat hard for hotel to do is that mask enforcement was zero in the lobby. At least half people were mask less which was not ideal.

Otherwise for sure would recommend and we will likely come back. The price of the suite was around 700 a night which is not bad at all for what was provided.

Location to Millennium park and Navy Pier was great and easily walkable especially to Millennium.

Highly recommend

Good afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback from your recent stay with us.

We're really excited to see that you enjoyed the kids suite package with the games and toys. Thanks for sharing the note that not all the team is aware of the kids suite perks and will definitely take this as an opportunity to ensure the entire team is aware. As for the mask requirement, we are working diligently to follow the CDC and city of Chicago guidelines and enforcing the requirement to wear a mask.

We truly value your feedback and hope you decide to stay with us again soon!

Sincerely,

Although I was satisfied with the room itself, clean with a great view upon arrival we had to wait in a crowded space for elevators with unmasked people around even though there were labels requiring masks. There was only one person serving check in and check out and waited around 1hr in a line to check out for our parking valet and our car to be back. Although the location is great I will not be staying again.
