I was at the Hampton Inn in June for an extended period, so I chose the larger corner suite with the full kitchen. There is so much to like about this hotel. Customer service is key and this hotel sets the standard. Angelina, who works at the front desk, went out of her way to see every need was met. She even contacted me during the trip to see if there was anything else I needed. 5 star customer service.
The hotel has been recently redecorated. The room was clean to the point of being spotless.
I am in Chicago all the time, and have stayed at numerous hotels. This property offers a lot at a reasonable price. My room was huge, with a full kitchen. There was a heat wave and the A/C worked well. I worked in the room and the free wifi was on point. The hotel also has Direct TV with a full selection of channels.
I had read about the fire station across the street. My room faced it directly. Sirens are part of city life, and this was nothing out of the ordinary. You will hear them anywhere you are. I slept well every night. I will certainly be returning.
