We wanted a hotel close to the sights for our family trip with 3 young kids. Staff was VERY friendly. Park & stay package made this a great value. Breakfast was phenomenal! Pool was smaller but nice & clean. Everything was clean and we felt completely safe in the area. Only bad thing was booked for 2 adults and 3 kids and took the 2 queen bed room offered, assuming there would be a roll-away or something. Next time we'd go with something a little bigger or 2 king beds.

This is a newer hotel with a terrific location right next to the train station and within walking distance to the theater district. The hotel is spotless, complimentary breakfast was excellent, and the service was terrific.

The room was good sized, clean, with good Wifi, has a small refrig and a safe, ice machine just down the hall, comfortable bed with 4 pillows. The breakfast was very good and the area was kept clean at all times, especially the waffle maker which tends to get spilled on with waffle batter.

The lobby is on the fourth floor along with the lobby for the Hampton Suites which is in the same building but with separate access. Parking on the floors below the lobby is very convenient. If you want parking with the AAA rate you get valet service which I didn't want, but you can just park yourself with no problems. They say 4:00 pm check in, but they let us into our room at 2:30.

Of course it's expensive, but so is everything else in downtown Chicago. I highly recommend it if you want to stay in that part of town.

One of the nicest Hampton Inns I've stayed in, and I stay in a lot of them. This one is new and in a great downtown location. The rooms are very quiet and the lobby area is extremely roomy and comfortable.

The hotel is clean and modern with rooms that make an efficient use of space (ie pocket sliding door covers either bathroom or closet). We reserved parking with our room but they NEVER told us it was valet parking so we ran into trouble trying to get out of the parking lot and had to call for help. Then, when we went in to have them fix our keys they admitted/apologized that a step had been “missed” during check-in and our keys weren’t set up correctly. Then when my hubby requested a printout of the bill at checkout we saw that they had tried to charge us extra for self-parking. That’s the first time they told us that we could have done valet during our stay. Other than multiple headaches with
parking, it was a very nice stay. I especially appreciated the variety of breakfast options and the fact that offerings changed from day-to-fay. One day was flat sausage, another day was link sausage, another day was sliced ham, and there were varieties of eggs from day to day as well. It was conveniently located and near some great restaurants. We would stay there again.
