Beautiful setting for the renovated tasting room overlooking the surrounding hills of Judea. Wines are excellent: a solid Cabernet Sauvignon, an outstanding Cab Franc, and a surprising and very impressive blend of C.S., P.V and C.F. Also tasted some semi-sweet and dessert wines. Highly recommended

I had heard good things about this winery (and love their wines), but was very disappointed. We saw the barrels and tanks through the glass from a room where we viewed a short movie and a lovely woman explained the wine-making process. We then went to another room and watched a movie about the history of the area. No tour of the surrounding area or vineyards was offered (not even sure where they are located actually) and, most surprising of all, was that they didn't offer any tastings! We paid and left. They didn't even show us what they make there! It was the oddest thing.

The tour is very unique in that in focuses not only one the wine production but also on the Biblical history of the area. There is also about a 30 minute movie in either English or Hebrew. as well as the traditional wine tasting. We sampled about 6 wines and purchased several for some excellent prices. The only drawback is that if you drive there, you must travel (albeit briefly) through some Palestinian areas. Definitely recommend.
