We stayed here for two nights on a business trip to Caldwell Idaho. The hotel has some good things going for it but also a couple of issues.
When we arrived we were suprised how hard it was to find parking, there is a pretty popular bar in the same parking lot and it was packed Friday night.
Check in was smooth and the desk staff very helpful and kind. Had a nice balcony room which I like, to many modern hotels feel like prisons to me.
Hotel was very clean and room was in good condition with comfy beds. There are a lot of restaurants close by so we had some good options within a mile. Breakfast here was not very good, I don't expect much at these "free breakfast" hotels but cold food is not good.
We enjoyed the fireplaces in the lobby and sat down there one night and enjoyed some good NW wine. We also walked next door to the Bardenay Restaurant & Distillery where they make their own vodka. Great martini's but we blew over $100 pretty quick there. Nice place though.
Probably would only stay here again if I had to be in Eagle, we were unaware how far Caldwell was from the hotel. We did go downtown also which took about 25 minutes.
It was a good stay.More
