Our hotel flatly refused to make a booking for us for skydiving as they said this company was just too unreliable. We thought that was a bit rough.
Well we were looking forward to the experience despite the significant cost.
Only trouble was that the plane wasn't operational - apparently a part was needed and they had to order it from USA.
We that was on a Wednesday - we told to contact again on Friday. No luck on there Friday - the part hadn't been ordered but they we hopeful that once ordered it would be received on the Monday with half a day to install - fingers crossed?
So we called again on Tuesday - no the part had not arrived - it was a Monday - 4th July in USA so it was a holiday. We thought mmmh - since the previous week they knew a part was needed - they probably also knew that 4 July would be a holiday in USA - we gave up. We got the message. We had be waiting almost a week for the plane to be ready. Difficult way to run a business.......
Thankfully we had lots of fun with activities booked with other operators.

Honey of a life time! The team was awesome and demonstration was easy to follow. The flight had amazing views of Bora Bora and the jump was breath taking. It was worth the money, the team flies from Moorea just for you! They set up the boat ride to and from the airport all with one fee. Video and picture are also included. We will do it again if we get a chance to go back. Children 12 and up can also go.

This was our second skydiving experience, with our first being in Australia. Our first dive might be called a "factory dive" as we fell with a whole slew of other first timers with instructors who probably did 4-6 dives a day with first timers. Don't get me wrong, that was a fab experience... but this was totally different. This outfit is two guys, their plane, their pilot and their ground guy(s). When you arrive at the "airport" in Mo'orea, you'll second guess yourself. If this is your first jump, you'll probably bail. It doesn't inspire confidence although that is TOTALLY the incorrect message to read.

Oliver and Patrick are two very experienced divers (8000+ "without any problems" by their account) and although their ground crew looked old enough to be our children, we trusted them immediately.

What followed was one of the best experiences of our lives. I have the feeling that Skydiving always makes you feel incredible but where you do it makes a lot of difference. Mo'orea is probably one of the most interestingly beautiful islands in the Tahitian grouping of islands because of its proximity to the island of Tahiti and it's combination of volcanic and coral charm. Skydiving there is incredible. The outfit is 110% professional and first rate despite what you might believe after you arrival at the "airport". Even if you are a first timer, hold out and meet Patrick and Oliver who will make you feel immediately comfortable and safe.

We highly recommend paying the extra 70 euro for the video & photos. They are extremely well produced with little if any B-roll. They really remind you of the incredible experience and give you something tangible to go home and show off with. =) They even picked different audio tracks for the 3 of us which fit out personalities perfectly! Impressive.

Skydiving requires a certain "je ne sais pas" but if you have that in you, this is ABSOLUTELY the place to experience it for the first time or to renew your love for falling from planes...

Susanne and I did jump together during our honey moon ! It's an amazing experience: the sensations and the view from up there... It's incredible. A shared memory for life.
I was kinda scared :) But the guys at Tahiti parachutisme explained everything (English and French) and when the time came I was ready and really enjoyed it.
