A bus to this mall leaves every half an hour from from the place adjacent to the Florence railway station starting from 10 am in the morning to the mall which is about 45 minute to an hour.Once you reach the mall there are separate buildings for each top brand as some are on the ground floor and some have an upper floor. The day we visited there was a lot of crowd and especially in front of Gucci where there was a long que.I also found a lot of Chinese who were there to shop and because of the mad rush one could find the salesperson in most of these stores saying that they were sold out and one could not get the shirt size or the shoe size as they were all sold out !! Frankly I feel that it’s overrated and one could be lucky depending on the time, availability of what one wants to buy which again depends upon the crowd !

This is my first visit to The Mall and i loved it. It had all the deaigners outlets(except Dior and LV) and the each designer outlet shop was huge compared to other outlets i have been to and they have lots of collections. Prices is also good and they have a tax refund at the outlet.

The Mall have a lot of different designer branded names such as Gucci, Dior, Prada and Montcler. Prices are affordable compare to the boutiques. They might be the off season styles but still worth to buy and very affordable.

Last visit to this place is 15 years ago in 2003 and today we saw much much bigger outlet than before. Before there is only two rows of shops but now every major luxury brands is in this shopping mall. Must visit for visitor to Florence. Shopping haven for luxury brand hunter.

We used the The Mall bus for €13 each which we booked online. You need to go to the taxi stand outside the train station. From there, you turn and go down the road going towards the railway, after you cross the railway, go to the corner and walk further, you’ll see The Mall Bus. Travelling time is a little bit more than an hour.

Gucci is well stocked and has the best discounts. Prada discount is not as good but a lot better than the Prada Space Outlet, choices are plentiful as well. I was able to get a black Bottega Veneta bag for 40% more discount from their outlet price which was a shocker.

Jimmy Choo prices are not bad. Coach was insanely cheap, additional 50% discount was given from the outlet price. Some shoes for men were only 80 Euros.

The rest of these stores have very little in display (or very little bags): Chloe, Balenciaga, AlexanderMcQueen, YSL, Valentino, Versace.

There are a lot of stores not included in the map which was disappointing. Tory Burch, Nike, Diesel. I wasn’t able to check these as I saw it after doing my tax free.

Tax Free counter would require you 3 things: tax free document from the store (even for purchases not made in The Mall), passport and credit card. They’ll give you the tax refund in cash but you’ll still need to give the stamped documents in the airport when you exit.
