We used to love ABC, especially this particular location because it's close to home and convenient to the shopping at The Avenue. We have noticed over the past few months that the condition of the restaurant seems to be going down hill. The drink machine, which is one of those fancy Coke units that produce 100 flavors, has been OUT OF SERVICE way more often than it is actually working. Why doesn't the owner get rid of it if it won't work??? If you opt for the tea, I hope you aren't looking for sweet tea, because it just isn't sweet at all (even though it says "sweet" tea).
The service is lack-luster. There used to be long-time regular employees that we knew by name. Now, the turnover is huge because we don't hardly see the same faces from one trip to the next. It's almost depressing when you walk in - no one smiles and the people behind the counter actually look sad or depressed.
This used to be a warm, inviting place to have pastry and coffee or a light lunch, but not any longer. Someone should put this restaurant back on the right path.
