Just moved to St Pete and new friends invited us to meet them for dinner.

Got a great warm welcome, server told us about additions to the menu and featured beers.

It was awesome because we never felt rushed while we chatted - we grabbed drinks raining from local hefeweiss beer, a chocolate coconut stout to a red sangria. There something for everyone.

We shared some roasted chicken peas and arancini - the chick peas were tasty and had a great smoked flavor from the smoked paprika. The arancini had three nice size pieces but were unfortunately missing that crispy outside because they were smothered in red sauce ( might be better served on the side).

Entrees had rave reviews - two had the pouting with short ribs, on traditional shepherds pie and I had the fish and chips. A HUGE portion of light crispy fried fish, hand cut fries with malt reduction and really yummy minted peas.

It felt like home, people were friendly, really comfortable, great place for dinner and conversations. Live music outside with an awesome patio.

We'll be back

Just like visiting London! Cool/hip vibe with British flare! Fish & Chips are a must have as well as many of the other British favs!

Like to try new places and just happened to stop in. The bartender was very nice and gave us the history of the place. We sat inside and enjoyed the atmosphere. The prices on a Sunday seemed a little pricey, 6 - 7 dollars a drink and that's beer. There are so many places downtown that have the same beer for less. Probably will not be back, try next door at Key West.

We so enjoyed our visit to Queenshead! Wonderful atmosphere, we sat outside in their pleasant patio area - the staff was very friendly and helpful. In the British tradition we had Fish and Chips and Shepard Pie with a starter of Mussels....topped off with Sticky Toffee Pudding. Everything was great - we will be back!

4 of us (adults) visited The Queenshead last night for dinner and we were SO pleased and full! The starters - Cheddar Cauliflower Croquettes and Thai Shrimp were excellent! Now, on to the main - Steak and Ale Pie was awesome, Fish and Chips, Shepherd's Pie and Braised Short Ribs were all excellent per my friends! Wednesday night being special for 'pie' and half-pint, we also enjoyed some good beers!
