Drove past the Friendly on vacation for years. Just found out how cool of place it is. Nothing FANCY! All you can eat crab legs and Bloody Marys are the specialty. Even breakfast is very good. Good fun at night, great food and drinks. They don't call it The Friendly for nothing!!!

The Friendly Tavern is a typical no airs and graces seaside pub. The food is good but the menu is a bit limited. The outside seating is a bonus, watch the world go by while you eat. Overall a decent place for a quick bite after a day at the beach.

Went along for some lunch, staff were lovely and friendly, helped me with gluten free options and explained what and why I couldn't eat some of the dishes. Felt like they were on the ball and wanted to help as much as poss.

We went here twice on a recent girls trip. On our travel day we wanted something casual and to sit outside. We ordered the special which was fish and chips and they were too heavily battered for my taste but if that's what you like the flavor was good. We had a few beers and a really good waitress and were all stuffed when we left. We went back on Friday night and sat inside (too chilly for the patio). Ordered the blackened grouper meal and it was very good. We stayed for karaoke and OMG! You could tell they had some regulars and they were pretty good. However, two large groups who were on vaca were quite entertaining. We had a blast!

On a recent 4 day get-a-way trip from TN, my wife and I stopped by the Friendly Tavern for an afternoon "cool one". Found a neat outside tiki bar filled with local retired sorts.Everyone one was friendly and the bar maid made us feel welcome. We were advised there, as well as other other places, to try the breakfast and make sure we got some fried potatoes. SO-- next morn we arrived about 9am. Sat outside at colorful picnic table and was served an awesome breakfast by a nice friendly gal. I had corned beef hash n eggs - wife had 3 egg omlet - both had fried taters GREAT -- WILL BE BACK
