We were staying at the nearby Sheraton for one night before heading to the east coast and we looking for an authentic, local spot for breakfast. We knew we hit the right spot when we saw the police cruiser out front. We were right on with our choice. To begin with, the "diner" (actually more of a regular restaurant in a strip mall conveniently located on a major road in an easily accessible location) was filled with locals (another good sign). The waitress was super-helpful suggesting to us that the better pancake deal was the so-called "short stack" because the pancakes (2 of them) were larger than the regular order and our coffee was included in the price. We ordered the blueberry pancakes and were shocked by their size. They were HUGE and filled with large, fresh blueberries. Although we gave it a valiant effort, we couldn't finish both of them. What a great, delicious deal accompanied by a friendly, helpful waitress for fair price. Overall, a winner!
