This is definitely a must-visit if you are anywhere near Palatka. The seafood tastes fresh and is skillfully prepared. Great atmosphere at the outside bar and seating area as well.

We managed to get in right ahead of a Friday dinner rush. We had the gator bites, steamed oysters and then the captain's platter. The food was good but the service was better.

Food was good. Server messed up our order twice. Cheese grits were not very cheesy & one bowl had a huge lump of clumped together grits. Ordered an oyster dinner to go & got a bowl of oyster stew!

A group of us went by boat yesterday to Corky Bell's Seafood, which is located on the St Johns River in Palatka. Most of us had Fried Shrimp & Scallops. It came with hush puppies & a choice of 2 sides. Everything was delicious. The service was great & we sat outside looking over the river. Before we left, entertainment started & the couple was very good. We have been here before & will be back. (If you are into Frog Legs they have some of the biggest we have ever seen & my friend tells me they are good.) Also - one in our party had a hamburger, so if you are not into seafood - it's still worth going to.)

We arrived around 4pm for a late lunch. We were seated right on the water with an amazing breeze and view. My husband and the fish and shrimp platter, I had fried shrimp, hush puppies, loaded baked potato. The food was quick to arrive, hot and really good. Will definitely go back.
