We just visited Christners for Valentine's Day. The meal and service was excellent. The wait staff is very attentive and strives to meet your every need. We tried three appetizers (because several come as half orders). The calamari, fried oysters, and Ahi tuna were all wonderful, although next time I would order full orders of the Fried Oysters and Ahi Tuna. The blue cheese lettuce wedge is a great salad and pairs well with steak. We tried the filet mignon and blackened grouper. Both were excellent. We decided that the filet was the very best when compared with other local steak restaurants. We ordered a side of brussel sprouts, which were very good. We enjoyed our meal so much, there was no room for desert, although the desert selections sounded wonderful too. All in all, it was a great meal, all selections were excellent and the service match the food in quality. We'll be back soon.

This Former Del Frisco's was & still is, the BEST RESTAURANT IN ORLANDO!! I have tried ALL of their competitors & they are still the best! They were a Del Frisco's franchise for 20 years & have ALL the same food but better since it's not a chain!

This is the absolute best steak and lobster restaurant in town. Nothing comes close. This was the original Del Friscos in Orlando until they opened a new one on international drive. This one is much much better. This is the best place hands down! The crab cakes are amazing to start off your meal. The wine selection is great also and the service is excellent.Don't eat too much bread or you won't be able to finish your steak and dessert.

Wow !! , what a place

Being from the uk we love USDA Dry aged prime Beef , its something we can not get back home to the same quality

Visiting Orlando for 2 weeks I had already researched a few places that sold USDA prime steaks beforehand

It wasn't until our very last day of our trip after a full day in universal studios that we decided we wanted to try this place after a few disappointing steaks in the theme park area , we made the drive over on a Saturday night without booking beforehand

Didn't really have any expectations of the place other then it selling USDA prime , upon arriving and finding Valet parking only I started to think , maybe we should have dressed up!

In full theme park style we arrived in shorts and t-shirts on a Saturday night while other guests appeared suited and booted ready for a night of fine dining

Clearly we were underdressed but as we visited on a bit of a whim and thought well we are here now so lets see if they have a free table , we were greeted just as friendly and the same way as anyone else and they quickly found us a table right by the bar area

we felt uneasy being so casually dressed as almost every other guest was in full smart dress , but it has to be said that the staff never once made us feel uneasy and were very friendly and welcoming in everyway

Now to the food

I think our server sensed we felt a bit uneasy being tourist and clearly coming from the theme parks and he took the time to clearly explain the menu to us explaining each dish, he really helped us feel welcome

We were given a freshly baked homemade bread while awaiting to choose from the menu and WOW was it good , I can honestly say it was probably the nicest bread I have ever eaten ,it was SOOOO good!!

We ordered a steak each and some sides to share

the steak was some of the best quality steak I have ever eaten , The Lobster mac and cheese and other sides were delicious , real quality food made with top quality ingredients

non of us could eat all our food and they quickly and politely asked us and then boxed up our leftovers to take away with us

The menu Is not cheap but I didn't expect it to be cheap ,quality costs and for the quality we got it was great value for money ,

Our bill actually came in cheaper then places we had eaten at inside of city walk but the difference in quality from Christener's was MASSIVE

I would highly recommend a visit , we will for sure be visiting again on our next trip to Orlando , easily the best steakhouse we have eaten at after 4 different holidays in Orlando

While attending a Convention in Orlando, we were looking for a steakhouse to entertain a few clients. Fortunately we found Christner's. The food was fine quality, the service was quite good. There are several rooms and it's fairly large but has that good steakhouse feel.
Steaks were cooked correctly to our requests
