We had become disillusioned with what had been our "go to" Mexican eatery and decided to try Zapata. Place is convenient right off Tampa Road with adequate parking. Restaurant is standard Mexican decor, clean and engaging. Service was very good. Meals were typical--nothing special or memorable, just tasty and filling. Chicken fajita was piping hot, onions and peppers fresh and tasty while there was considerable moist, tender chicken in the dish. The carne asada was nicely seasoned but one of the two slices was tough and rubbery. The refried beans in both dishes were eh!
Margarita was excellent.
Our search continues as Zapata wasn't quite what we were looking for!
