Spotless townhouse overlooking the Gulf. Wonderful staff....great Administrators...new rugs, new furniture....clean outdoor grills....beach swept daily.....cannot ask for more directly on the Gulf....Parking spaces available every few minutes (just like shopping centers - if you are patient)...not an issue.

Room tip: Clean rooms...new furniture and rugs....

If you have a hard time walking, want a clean room or enjoy a spotless place, THIS IS NOT THE SPOT!

There is no way this place can be "full", but that's their story.

Parking is absurd. Access the street, down the block. At least 1/4 mile walk one way.

It's one of the dirtiest pages I've seen. Motel 6 is nicer.

Our room was really, really dirty. If I can edit some pics, I will post them.

Murphy beds-terrible.

Blinds bent.

Not even kitchen supplied. No mixing bowls, no bother. Outdated everything.

This is the third time I have stayed at this resort, this time in a studio. I will not hesitate to stay here again.

However, with that said you need to know what to expect when you stay here. My home resort is valued at 167000 points per week; this one cost 24000 points for the week. So it would be unreasonable to evaluate it by comparing it to higher valued resorts. You get what you pay for.

Pros: The location on the beach could not be better and the amenities provided are excellent. My unit was clean and well stocked and the view from my room was excellent. There were some recent renovations (Kitchen counters and tile flooring), new furniture (dresser and sofa bed) and new paint. The employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. For its location the cost of 24000 points is a real bargain. It is within walking distance to one of my favorite fishing piers in the area.

Cons: The building is old and the decor very outdated. Nothing is replaced unless it is totally and completely worn out and unrepairable. Everything will be glued, caulked, puttied and painted. Repairs and renovations look like they have been done by a novice do-it-yourselfer, mostly with the cheapest materials available. The carpet in my unit had many stains and looks like it needs to be replaced. The mattress was also in need of help.

It is not uncommon to see employees in shorts, tee shirts and in their bare feet or flip flops. Their level of professionalism is not what you would expect, like in a more expensive resort.

Parking for RCI members is across the street behind Redington Shores city hall and there is only one parking space for each unit. I imagine they keep a close eye on this because the parking is so limited. When I get back after 12:00 I always fill the last parking space.

Again, I will not hesitate to stay here again. It is a great value for a points switch. I would never do a weeks switch into this resort.

This is an older, Florida original, beach front building. You get as much, or more, that you can expect for the very low price. It's not a "low end" place. It just extremely reasonably priced. It's not a hotel with maid service, but you are not paying for that extra either. The people are friendly, and it's a very comfortable atmosphere. You can jump on the Trolley, and take it to most places you might want to visit. On site parking is limited, but there is off site parking available. Great beach right next to the pool !!
