This place is a dining experience. The lush vegetation is complemented with delicious food and excellent service. You will talk about this place! I had the Chicken Parmesan and took over half of it home.

Came here on a whim while on vacation because we were in the mood for Italian. While the prices are a little steep, the service was wonderful as was the atmosphere (live jazz, outdoor/ chic treehouse feel). Food was wonderful. Caesar salad was top notch as was the filet ravioli dish. Would go back and recommend.

So generally I’m a positive person and look for the good in just about everything. This visit to The Garlic was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in my life, and it was entirely based on service. We had a bigger group, and have a handful of which that have food allergies. We called ahead to see if they could accommodate those allergies (some dairy, some gluten) and we were assured that there was no problem at all, even with it being on the weekend. From the second we started ordering, our waiter (named Edward) was incredibly rude, condescending, and completely unhelpful with making any minor modifications, saying “No, absolutely not. We are not that kind of establishment that makes special orders of any kind, especially over the weekend.” Hmmm, that’s interesting, since we called ahead and they said we could. He then threatened to send over his manager so he could tell us off about it, and we just sat there in shock that someone would be that rude. We weren’t making special requests because we’re picky. We have legitimate food allergies that we have no control over, and this jerk rolled his eyes, made heavy sighs like we were ridiculous, and was condescending. This is just to the ladies’ side of the table...then he walked over to our husbands and started complaining to them about us! WHAT?! The food was decent, even after the kitchen accidentally added cheese to some dairy-free guests’ food, but that happens! Garlic - please either make sure your wait staff is prepared to deal with requests like this (Edward complained more than once that people ask all the time for a gluten free menu), especially when guests call ahead to make sure it’s possible, or hey, maybe don’t hire guys like Edward who can’t handle it. Atmosphere was great, food good overall, but really - take a deep breath Edward.

You got to make time for this place! Take it all in, much to see. Lights, decorations... hidden in every nook and cranny. A real delight!
But the food, GEELISCIOUS. The lamb chops were so very tasty and the jalapeño jelly was a real kick.
Fun bartender and great vibe!
