During our stay in Miami we probably ate here 5-6 times due to the proximity to our hotel. From the first meal to the last, the food was delicious! Restaurant is open 24 hours so that was also a plus!! Only negative is that food takes a bit long to arrive, but it was worth the wait!

They tell you they only take credit cards with chips and your food will take 25 minutes upon seating you. More like 50 minutes for breakfast. Mediocre food but would not return due to the slow service

The waitress is clearly not having a good day and her customers are paying the price. If the tip wasn't included with the food I wouldn't be leaving one.

We had a nice breakfast here but when we went back for dinner one night, it was anything but. I have celiac disease, so I asked the waitress to help me with the menu. She said that I could have plain salad with no dressing. I saw no point on going any further. I know there were several things on the menu that were probably safe (grilled veggies, etc) but they lost our business due to lack of training.

We stumbled upon this little gem before our reservations at the ice cream museum. Right away, we let our server know that we were in a hurry, as we only had about one hour before we needed to be at the museum. We let our server, Jose, know that we were in a rush and he had a lot of great recommendations for us on menu items that came out quickly.
Everything he suggested was excellent! The food came out very fast and tasted amazing. We were very impressed with the food, but even more impressed with Jose’s service.
He was pleasant, friendly and extremely accommodating. We promised him we’d be back to The Tavern again because of him and his great service! Thanks Jose!!!
